what i have learned this year is that i have been able to do stuff that i cant do in other class this cool because i can have fun but i can also learn and i hope that they have this in high school but most of all i love that i have been able to stuff i thought i never could do but i had fun this year.

football

football is a good sport for me and it is cool and i love it. i have always wanted to play football. but i could not play because my school did not have it. but now that i am up here i can play football. so if you like football you can come here to Festus.

My Day

Football had been but today all of football season is over and i am going to be bored because i have nothing to do over the year and i am not happy that i mist two days because i had been sick and i am not the best in the world and i am sad because i don't get to play this game because i mist the practices because i have been out of school and i have a lot of stuff to get up to date on but all in all a like this school better.

my favored moment is when i went to six flags. it was the best time i had in the world. i had never been to six flags but i had fun when i went. i was scared when i went i rode a ride. but i got better and had fun the rest of the day.but my cousin got scared but not me. but that is all i did that day but i want to go again.

My Technology Experience

I had a good time in technology this year. It's not my favirote class, but its not my least. My favirote project is the one I started yesterday. You get to create stuff, and it's alot like painting. My favirote thing I liked about this class was that we didn't have to do that much getting up and walking around. My least favirote was that we had to work on computers all day long. I don't like doing one thing for a long period of time. I think this class would be better if we did more group projects. Like maybe 2-3 people in a group. Some of the projects were really boring. Like the powerpoint projects 1-4. They were enjoyable, but we did practicaly the same ting for all of them.

Our Pizza Party

Our pizza part was cancelled today because of stupid track! I'm really angry! we've waited  a really long time to have this and it gets cancelled because track has to be moved inside. How is that going to work anyway? There is like 150 people doing track! So how are all those people going to fit in the multi purpose room and to track stuff? I think you can tell that i'm really angry. Now all the basketball boys have to wait until Thursday and today is only Tuesday. Thursday come faster please!

St. Louis Cardinals

Baseball season is almost here for the MLB or Major Leauge Baseball. I am really excited. My favirote team is the St. Louis Cardinals. They won the world Series in 2011. They made another playoff run last year only to fall short in the National leauge Championship to the Sanfrancisco Giants who went on to win the World series in 2012. I hope the Cardinals do really well this year because my dad, my sister Hannah, and I have season tickets. My favirote player is David Freese. My second favirote is Allen Craig. David Freese plays 3rd base and Allen Craig plays leftfield, rightfield, and a little bit of 2nd base.

The Door

I had 7 choices. When I opened up, it was Narnia. That is the one I wanted. Narnia was an incredible place. It was really cold, and when I stumbled onto the cold white surface I instantly passed out. When I woke up I was in a very interesting place. Everything I liked from food to sports to clothes. It was amazing. I started eating everything. When I was playing NBA2K13, I was having a blast. Then I heard this boom. I imediatley stopped and got up. I looked around the corner to see what it was and there was a note. It said to get and play everything as much as you can because it wont last.

They Took Everything

When I walked into my house I looked around and seen that everything was gone. They even took my dog. But, there was this one thing laying in the middle of the floor. I went over to pick it up and it seemed like just a useless thing that maybe the robbers didn't want, but then I started realizing that it was a clue!
A clue that could help me to where the robbers and all my stuff could be.

My Food

For Valentines Day, my mom got a bunch of food. This is why I love her. Last year she gave me money. This year she gave me a bunch of chips and candy. I am not going to share it with anyone. Maybe my mom because she bought it for me. But, probably not. I love food! I want to marry food. If that was possible, I would. That is how much I love food. I would say i love food so much that i will be the only one in this class to write about it. It tastes so good! I wish that every holliday my mom would get my favirote food. My favirote food is probably chicken. Preferabley fried. I eat all the time but I have a high metavilism so i dont gain that much weight. I like KFC and LEE'S chicken. I love the biscuts too.

Today our subsitute teacher is the funniest guy ever! He makes us laugh all the time! But, he is a god teacher. When it is time to learn, he makes us.

The worst class

I think that the worst class on my schedule is my 6th hour. For 6th hour I have Mrs. Ganey. I dont like her class because I hat language arts and I hate reading. Sometimes, Mrs. Ganey can make it fun, then there is other times. I'm not trying to be mean, but sometimes she's angry at everything, and then the next moment shes nicer that anything in the world. I dont know if it's us, if she's stressed, or if thats just how she is. I have almost made my A.R goal which is only 16 points! I have 14 right now. I did like when we read the outsiders though. It was a cool book. My favirote part of it was when they had a rumble and the greasers won. But, I hate when we do work in Mrs. ganey's class.

Baseball

Baseball season is getting ready to start. I'm really excited. I pitch and play shortstop. I can play anwhere except catcher. But, I start at shortstop. I bat 3rd in the lineup. Usually, if you bat 3rd your a good hitter. I don't like to brag on myself, but i'm our teams best hitter. In the 6 years i've played baseball, I made the allstar team every year. I have 2 leauge M.V.P awards. which mean most valuable payer in that season. In our league, we give out alot of awards. The most i've won in a season is 3, which was the M.V.P, Outstanding performance award, and the Little league defensive player of the year.

The Memory I Would Want To Bottle Up

If there was a memory I could bottle up, I would bottle up the time that I got my first dog because it was really special to me. My first dog was an English Bulldog. His name was Butter. He always was running upstairs,downstairs, then in the main floor of my house. He liked to chew up stuff. One day i got home from school and all the couch pillows were chewed up. There was fuzz everywhere. Then, he became a daddy with an American bulldog and we had about 9 dogs total.

School

School.... Its fun at times. Others, its not so fun.. My favirote hour is 5th because I have gym. My least favirote hour is probably 3rd because I have math. I like math, but im not very good at it. I love gym because its exercise. The only thing I dont like about gym is that sometimes we do stupid games. 5th hour is weird because some people have lunch, then some people have a class. Then it switches. Who ever just had lunch now has a class, and whoever just had a class now has lunch. I have D lunch. Which is last. I dont like D lunch because im always hungry. Even when i eat breakfast, im usually even hungrier during the day. Its weird.

Veterans Day

I think we should have veterans day off because we have already learned about it. Our school lets us off on Martin Luther King Jr day. I agree with that descion because we know about his legacy and we shouldn't be forced to go to school on a national holiday. Therefore, I think that we should get Veterans Day off.

Manti Te'o Incident

Manti Te'o was lying about the death of his girlfriend Lennay Kekua. Te'o was also lying about the exsistence of his lover. Sports illastrauted reported that Manti Te'o before the Michigan State game that he started to break down and cry. This game was also very difficult for Te'o because his grandmother actually did die 24 hours before the game. Norte Dame went on winning the game. The Norte Dame Fighting Irish went on to the BCS Championship later that season, only to loose to the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Gameday

Today is gameday! Today the Festus tigers will play the Jefferson R-7 bluejays. We play ar R-7. I think we will win. I hope we win. There are 12 people on our team. The people are Brennan Pryor, Cole Martin, Logan Uding, Nick Nischbach, Daniel Portell, Blake Holland, Cj Glaze, Chase Cernick, Dawson Harper, Alex Jacobs, Owen Horlsey, and Caleb Raye.

How are you? I am amzing. So far, I like your class. I enjoy working with computers. I think that I will enjoy this class. You are a very nice teacher, untill kids make you not one. [Devon Borghi] I hope to continue to be on your good side.

I am a very sporty guy. I play baseball, basketball, football, and I used to play hockey. I just moved to Festus this year. There are alot of nice kids here. Then there is others. I cant believe that it is already 3rd quarter. Time has flew by. My favirote food is chicken. I am 13 years old. My dad lives in Oakville, Missouri. My mom lives in Herculaneum, Missouri. I am enjoying your class.

I havent had much experience with computers. But, im always on my phone. I have a computer at my house but i dont really get on it. There is a bunch of neat stuff about computers that i've learned so far I really like the copy and paste. Its really interesting. I know i am going to learn more in your class. I hope we have a good quarter.

In photo number one, a family looks like they are saying a blessing. It looks like its a special day because everyone is dressed up. I think that it is Thanksgiving or Christmas. Their are nine people in the photograph. It looks like their are four adults and five children. the food is wrapped up in metal tops and bowls. It looks fancy. There is a window in the backround. Every spot is set nice and neatley. There are forks, spoons, knives, and napkins at every seat. i can't really tell whats in the middle, but it looks like flowers.

My name is Daniel Portell. I am in 7th grade. I have played basketball for 7 years. It is my favirote sport. We have a game tonight versus Grandview. I hope we win. I play every position, but mostley wing. I like wing because its a perimeter area and i can shoot well, if i dont shoot i can drive to the basket and draw the foul or kick it back out and let someone else shoot. My team this year is pretty good. We have players that can pretty much play anywhere. We are not that tall, but we are really fast. Our tallest person is Brennan Pryor. I am the 3rd tallest. i love when we destroy teams by like 40 like we did against the Herculaneum Blackcats.
