Kid Nation 4

The town council has an obligation to keep the town under control. But they are still struggling to do so. Right now they want to do a religous service, but nobody wants to attend. Almost all people are against it, because they think that it will cause conflict.
The town needs social solidarity. They need to be able to withstand obstacles. They need to be a strong solid community. That way they will last and will not fall apart.
All of the teams are pretty good with social interaction. They all get along with eachother. But the yellow team is probably the worst and laziest team in the town. They do no work at all, but they get paid the most. That's not very fair. They really don't desrve to be the cooks.

The Poorest President

The poorest president only makes $2,500 then that means that he is the president in a very poor country. He also is an extremely generous president since he donates 90% of his salary to charity. That would probably make him not the poorest, but the best president on Earth, you know a president who actually cares about the poor people.

I'm Bored

Boredom is a natural thing. It usually corrisponds with school. It is not a pleasant feeling at all. It is a feeling that tells your mind that what you are currently doing is not satisfying at all. I am currently bored. Just sitting in front of a computer typing a free blog post. You know a good movie? Frozen. you know what I have to do for the next twenty minutes? Type on a timed typing test, so much fun!(so much sarcasm!) I am bored.

Kid Nation 3

Everybody is still dealing with desocialization. They all need to let go their old norms. There life now is nothing like what it was at home. They can't expect to live the way that they used to and still survive in their new town. They need to forget their old life and for the meantime focus on making their town work.

Along with that they are also going through resocialization. The process of adapting to new norms. This is something that has to be done in order to make their town work. Most of them seem like they are doing their best to do this. Right now they are adapting and they aren't doing a bad job.

The town still has to work on one major problem.Socialization. They need to work on teamwork and cooperation. That is what this town depends on. There is no way that the town will run without it. They are doing an overall pretty good job in adapting and working together, so they aren't doing a bad job.

Kid Nation 1

Kid Nation is a reality tv show that's about 40 kids who are left in a desert ghost town and are expected to survive and build a civilization on their own. Unfortunately their "civilization" is full of disfunction. The first week everyone was getting into fights and there was no control at all.

The council is supposed to have power over the town, but there are kids older than the kids on the council, and the older kids think that their decisions overules the councils, so I think that the town should have a disiplin system, so that the council can actually be a council and take power and run the town.

Also the proletariats need to acually live up to their job. For example: the yellow team wanted to cook the food, so they got to work in the kitchens and cook, but that job also comes with a dirty side, dishes. If the yellow team doesn't want to do the dishes, they shouldn't be in the kitchens. Honestly if anyone deserves to be in  the kitchens, it's green. Sophia a girl who is on the green team, totally deserved the gold star, because she worked the hardest all week, like making sure the food got cooked even whenever it wasn't her responsibility.

Kid Nation 2

Their society is still going pretty rough in their second week. They are running out of meat and their debating wether to kill the chickens or not, but in the end they do end up killing the chickens which I think was their best choice to make. It's also good that they are taking town votes, that way they can maintain their society.

I think that the town council should inforce laws, so that they can have informal sanctions as well as formal sanctions like the gold star reward. That way if someone does something bad or even taboo, they can be punished. They can create laws and the town could become more of an actual society and less of just a group of kids left in the desert to survive. Even though I don't think that anything too serious will happen.

Aside from actual laws. They need Norms and morals. They are less serious than laws and they are needed more than they should have laws. I think this because I don't think anything too serious will ever happen.

Crystal City Underground

Crystal City Underground used to be an old sand mine all the way back in the 1800's to around the 1980's.
Now it is a place to play disk golf, drink, play sand volleyball, even go on a barge ride, and etc.

Dear Mrs. Debolt,
I'm Eli, there's not alot to know about me, but I'm going to tell you what there is to know.
I'm 13 years old. I have three brothers. My parents are divorced. I am living with both parents in two different houses with a scedule to where I spend an even amount of time in both houses each week. My mom is moving to Illinois and getting married and I'm moving in with my dad full time, so I can go to school here with my friends and family. I have a cat at my mom's house named Romeo, and a pitbull at my dad's house named Lacey. My mom is a nurse at Mercey hospital, and my dad works at Crystal City Underground.

I like to do alot of different things. During the summer I ride my bike pretty much everywhere I can. I like to be around my dad. I love the Cardinals of course! I like hanging out with my friends and my cousin. My family goes before anything in my life, and I would be abnormal if I did't like video games and allnighters.
If anything I would prefer being outside, and if I could do anything right now it would be to go to Crystal City Cave.
I have ADD, so I have a hard time paying attention and staying on task. I daydream alot too. It annoys me just about as much as it annoys the teachers, so if You get annoyed at me for not paying attention, Your not alone. That's pretty much all I'm willing to say, so now would be a good time to stop typing.

Do video games make kids more violent?

Yes, I do think that video games can make kids think and act a little more violent. Some kids tend to look up to video game characters, and everyone wants to be like their role model, so they try acting like some kind of unrealistic action/adventure character. So, I do think that they can get violent.
